What is Biax?
In the field of archaeobotany, BIAX has more experience and knowledge then any other company. Our lab equipment is modern and complete, and we possess an extensive collection of endemic and exotic plant species. In addition to recent scientific works our library contains many historical sources, and is in this field one of the most complete in the Netherlands. This results in fast and efficient completion of our tasks and guarantees a high standard in our research.
Who benefits from Biax?
BIAX collaborates with both commercial and non-commercial archeaological institutes on a contract base. In addition, BIAX conducts scientific research together with scientific institutes and universities in the field of archaeobotany and palaeobotany. Thirdly, BIAX performs forensic botany in collaboration with the NFI (Dutch Forensic Institute). Last but not least, several of BIAX's partners teach a number of archaeobotanical subjects at different universities in the Netherlands.
